Mica - Adopted 8/2/17

Hi, my name is Mica. I've had a tough life in just 2 years. I was a stray in New Mexico and I eventually tried living in a truck stop. It was hard, I had to scrap for food and hide under trucks. When a nice person found me I was under a truck and had oil all over my head and a big old gash at the base of my tail. It was terrible and really hurt.

Once I was brought to Colorado and to the nice people at GRRR, I immediately had a luxurious bath and got to see Dr C. He said a foxtail had buriied itself in my skin and it all became infected. They cleaned me up, stitched it up and made me wear a weird plastic cone on my head so I wouldn't scratch at my tail. I knocked over everything with that cone and it was really hard to pick up tennis balls.

I feel wonderful now and I'm happy and LOVE to run, play and chase anything you want to throw. I love it at GRRR with all the nice people, but I still want a home of my own.

If you're interested in meeting me, read the GRRR adoption process and fill out an application.
