Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies in an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Without the generous donations of people who care about Golden Retrievers, we would not be able to accept all of the Goldens we are contacted to help find a new home. Many of the Goldens come to GRRR because of a medical or behavior issues where their previous owner could not take care of. Our medical expenses were close to $160,000 last year. Without your contributions, we would not be able to accept into our program the many Goldens which we are asked to help. When we take a Golden into GRRR we supply veterinary care, food, love, and shelter to homeless, abandoned, neglected and injured Golden Retrievers. All donations are used for the dogs. Our goal is to find happy endings for dogs who may have known little, if any, love and caring in their lives. Please, find it in your heart to make a donation, big or small, it will help.
GRRR has established a new fundraiser called Mary's Golden Manor. This fundraiser is designed to help GRRR obtain a piece of property to house some of the dogs that cannot go into foster care or the kennel, as well as provide a place for us to hold our events (ideally this property would have a large building or barn to use for indoor events).
