Kona - Adopted 5/10/16

Kona is just as sweet in person as she looks in her photos.  She's 8-9 years old and a larger size Golden girl who loves to play and thinks swimming is about the best sport ever.  Her family  has dearly loved and cared for Kona her entire life, but sadly they can no longer keep her due to an illness in the family.  It was a difficult decision for them to surrender her, but we reassured them we will help her find another wonderful family. This wonderful girl truly deserves to be happy and well loved.

Kona has had all her vaccinations and tested negative for heartworm.  She is scheduled to have a sebaceous cyst removed on May 11th, but she's ready to be adopted right away.  She has befriended all the other dogs at GRRR and is a get along with everyone kind of girl She hasn't been around any cats since she joined us, so we don't how she feels about the feline critters.

Kona has been through a lot of changes and can't wait to settle into her new home with you.  "Every night I go to sleep hoping you will there to get me first thing in the morning," she woofs.  "I can't wait to make all your days Golden!"
