Berkley - Adopted 6/3/17

Berkley is a strong, athletic and extra handsome Golden boy who is hoping to be your new best friend. He will be turning 5 years old this summer -- and speaking of summer -- he's planning to be a big part of all your outdoor summer activities.  "Your agenda is my agenda," he woofs.  Dashingly handsome Berkley,  is just as good looking in person as he is in his photos with his blonde wavy coat and soulful eyes. Heads are sure to turn when you step out with this big stunning fellow.

Berkley is hoping you can help him refine his social skills.  In his previous home he wasn't properly socialized with any dogs other than the canine family member he grew up with.  His new home will need to be committed to working with him on his response to other dogs.  A training class for behavioral etiquette would be a perfect way for you to bond and get him off to a great start as your new family member.

His original home had small children and he did well with them, but he is an enthusiastic player who could accidentally knock them down while playing.  Older, dog savvy children would be best for our big guy.  He would prefer to be your only canine family member.

Berkley is currently recovering from a foot injury that occurred prior to him joining GRRR.  He was allowed to approach some horses and was kicked by one of them.  His recovery is going well and should be good as new soon.

Do you have a place in your heart and home for this big, happy, extra handsome character?  He is going to be a very devoted, loving and entertaining companion for a dog savvy family.
