I’m little two-year-old Piper, and I came to GRRR when my owner could not afford to care for my medical condition. I have Addison’s Disease and I require expensive medication and monthly shots. I’ve been told I’m an absolutely wonderful Golden, and I’m so grateful to have been given the chance to live as normal a life as possible. I’m living with my incredible hospice family, Jennifer and Brian, and they provide me with all the love and comfort fit for a queen. I’m enjoying every single day to the max! Because of my condition I get a lot of infections, but I’m always very well cared for. I usually have enough energy to play with the other dogs (they’re sure fun!), and no matter what I always have a happy attitude. Jennifer says I have “the cutest little puppy face” and that I get along with everyone. I’m proud to say that I’m an expert cuddler and just as sweet and lovable as can be. In spite of my life threatening disease, I’m living the Golden dream of being loved by a very special family. I’m resilient and greet each new day with typical Golden enthusiasm. Without the Golden Angel Fund and my dedicated hospice family, my dream would never have come true. I love all of you so much for everything you’ve done for me and I thank you with every wag of my tail.
