"In 2014, I found Mica at a local rescue center in South Carolina, a lone golden retriever at a shelter that focused on poodles. The volunteers there told me being that he was an older dog with a long list of health issues and would likely spend the rest of his life at the shelter.
Mica was a golden soul with a gentle spirit that sparkled light, love, comfort and laughter to me and my boxer Lira. I'm so grateful he found his way in our life. He would spend the rest of his life hiking the woods of South Carolina and then adventure across country to Colorado where he would live and love so much exploring every river, lake and mountain that came our way. Losing him has been so hard...but the thought of not having him enrich our lives would of been harder." - Deb
