ADOPTED 7/18/22 Oreo-18 months (Female-Mini Sheepadoodle or Mini Bernedoodle)

Category:

This sweet doodle girl was abandoned in an outside yard at a Colorado shelter. Oreo was terrified and had been a quite neglected little girl. We were contacted to help with Oreo due to her being so terrified. Oreo was very matted when left in the outside yard. The shelter had Oreo groomed so she wouldn’t have those horrible mats tugging and pulling on her skin which is so painful. Oreo is doing great here at GRRR. At first, she was nervous when her caregiver would leave the house or even the room, in a short time she figured out she wasn’t being abandoned, her caregiver come back. She has enjoyed sharing the home with the other dogs, running in the yard with them, eating with them, etc. She thinks life is pretty great here. She will be so happy when she gets a home where she can be appreciated and loved. We are really not sure what kind of doodle she is, but it seems the closest match for her would be mini bernadoodle or sheepadoodle. She only weighs 45 lbs and looks so tiny without the matted coat she came into the shelter with. Oreo is looking for a loving home, hopefully understanding that doodles require consistent grooming. Oreo is very good with the other dogs. She would do best in an all-adult home with a person who can help her get over the trauma of being abandoned. Oreo will be a wonderful companion and is such a smart girl. She has just watched the other dogs and is quick to learn from them. Oreo just wants a real family who can love and care for her.
