Blue was found in a very bad shelter and was going to be released in the streets. Our contact in Turkey was able to rescue Blue from the shelter.
He is a sweet, young boy who needs training and a strong leader. Blue would also do best in a home with another furry friend he can play with. Blue loves nothing more than to play with the other dogs.
If you are interested in adoption, you must first read our adoption process and then complete the online application. Please note that Istanbul, Turkey dogs adoption fees are as follow: under 1 year $800, over 1 year $600.
Turkey Dogs require a special home with the following criteria:
- Ideally a stay-at-home or work-at-home parent would be best for these dogs to acclimate to their new surroundings. However, parents who work part-time or have extended time off can work because they have time to work with their new dog.
- 6 foot fenced-in yard (No invisible fencing).
- No children under 8
- Only families who live in Colorado (no out of state adoptions-no exceptions)
- TDs have lived on their own and don’t do well with cats. No adoptions to households with cats.
