ADOPTED 4/3/23 Fang-2 years old (Male-Newfoundland)

Hi! My name is Fang former known as Dudley and I’m a two year old, very handsome Newfoundland. My foster mom calls me Fang because I remind her of the dog from Harry Potter even though we aren’t the same breed, but she says we both have a squishy face. Anyway, someone gave me a lion cut before I came to GRRR (I’m a Newfie don’t they know you shouldn’t shave me) and I’m a little embarassed by it so my profile pictures are just of my handsome face. I’m sure that my face alone will get me lots of potential adopters. That and the fact that I”m super sweet and get along with all of the dogs I have been around and boy has that been a lot of them. I even get along with the resident Newfie who weighs a lot more than I do. I only weigh 120 pounds and I’m really not much taller than most Golden Retrievers. I was recently neutered and had to have eye surgery because my eyelids are too droopy so they cover my eyeballs and I can’t see that well because of my droopy lids. I still have too much forehead skin and when I bend my head down my forehead covers my eyes, but I definately see a lot better now. I’m told humans pay a lot of money to have this cosmetic procedure done, but for me it’s necessary so that I can see. I am fully recovered from my surgery, but will need special eye drops the rest of my life for my dry eyes. I do have some separation anxiety and would do best in a home with another dog AND with someone who either works from home or can take me to work with them and won’t leave me alone for more than a few hours at a time. I have been moved from place to place farily often so I’m a little insecure and want nothing more than to be with my human family and am really looking forward to finding my forever home.
