Fendi-8months (Female) Adopted 6/21/20

Fendi is a beautiful 8 1/2-month-old Golden Retriever who is needing a very special home.  Fendi came to us from a very loving home but they were unable to get Fendi socialized and didn’t have a yard for her to run and play. Fendi came to us needing to learn how to be a Golden Retriever. She has spent several weeks with us learning from our volunteers and learning from the other Golden Retrievers how to play, share, eat slower and some basic manners.  Fendi is a beauty and we understand how tempting it is to want her no matter what, but she really does need a special home.  We are looking for a home where they have time to work with her on training and willing to accept the responsibility to do that training.  Fendi must have an all adult home, she is not familiar with children and is not good at giving up toy, sticks, food, socks, etc.  She is a puppy and needs to learn she can’t have whatever she wants.  She needs to continue to receive love and care because she has so much to give back.  Fendi would do best in a home with a young, playful dog.  If you are interested in Fendi, please read our adoption process and complete the online application.  We will be very selective in placing Fendi as we do all of the Goldens who come come into our care, but she has special needs and requires a specific type of new home and adopters.
