Galen 1.5 years old (Male) Adopted 10/26/19

This is handsome, shy Galen. He is a former breeder dog who came to us very fearful of many things. We assume that his experience with human beings was minimal and mostly some sort of rough handling because he shows a lot of fear of people. He is working very hard at coming out of his shell and learning to trust us humans. It will take him some time yet. He is now walking with our volunteers and really enjoys getting a good rubbing and even being brushed. The best home for Galen will be one with a calm, confident, happy doggy brother or sister who can teach him the joy of being a Golden! His human family will need to be patient, loving and determined to help him to continue to progress.
