ADOPTED 5/13/26!! Jackson-12 years old (Male) mixed breed

Category:

Meet Jackson — a distinguished gentleman with plenty of pep left in his step.

Jackson a 12 year old neutered male has been through a lot. He recently came back into our care when his favorite human passed away leaving him alone and confused.  Jackson was taken to the local shelter where they discovered from his microchip that he was one of our adopted dogs. We immediately went to pick up this confused senior. Jackson was adopted 8 years prior when he and his companion a 10 year old Golden Retriever came into our care to find a new home and family. His companion was a Golden Retriever and we didn’t want to separate the boys so Jackson, who is a Lab mix, came into GRRR too.

His brother has passed on years ago. It’s been just Jackson and his person for almost 7 years.

Jackson is not a Golden Retriever, but just as sweet, loves attention and still has some get up and go. He plays with his foster brothers and sisters.  And loves his walks with our volunteers. Jackson is very loving and affectionate.

If you are looking for a wonderful companion for those easygoing walks and cuddles, please consider Jackson. He needs a new loving home and family or person to call his own.
