Meet Maximus — The Handsome Ball‑Chasing Gentleman
Maximus is a striking boy who will be turning 4 in July, and he’s every bit as charming as he looks. This athletic guy lives for a good game of fetch and will happily chase tennis balls as long as you’re willing to throw them.
Maximus came into our care after his loving family exhausted every option to manage severe allergies. Letting him go was heartbreaking for them, but they wanted him to have the happy, healthy life he deserves.
Maximus would thrive as the only dog in the home. He can be protective of his toys and tennis balls around other dogs, so a quieter canine environment will help him feel secure. With people, though, he is nothing but sweetness — affectionate, gentle, and never showing any negative behavior.
He’ll do best in an active adult home where he can continue positive socialization with other dogs and enjoy plenty of exercise and enrichment. In return, Maximus will give his new family loyalty, love, and endless enthusiasm for every adventure.
