ADOPTED 1/8/22 Piper (Female Golden Ret.) 2.5 years old Sydka (Male-Husky Golden mix) 1.5 years old !!BONDED PAIR!!

Piper and her son, Sydka, are looking for a home together. This pair came to GRRR when they were surrendered to a shelter because they had escaped their pen and killed a chicken. Piper is only 2 1/2 yrs old and became a momma pretty young. The two play very well together, enjoy each other’s company and the company of other dogs. Sydka had issues with being separated from his mother and this is why they were transferred into our care. We have spent time with him and had him with other dogs and by himself to learn that he didn’t have to be with Pippa 24/7. However they really do enjoy each others company and would make great new companions to an active person or family who have the time to spend with them. They have been learning about living inside and how life is being a family member. Sydka was neutered when he came into our care and has recovered quickly and is really doing well with housetraining. Piper and Sydka just love attention from people. Piper will just sit and gaze at you in hopes that you will just pet her. They are good eaters, getting better with leash walks, and very happy dogs who are looking for a wonderful home where they will be more than yard ornaments.
