Rusty is a 3 year old neutered male, 100 lb Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix. Rusty came into our care having been surrendered by owners who had him since he was a puppy. Rusty lived with two cats and did well, but he developed possessiveness over food and items like socks, because of this he was surrendered to a shelter. Rusty is a little shy when first meeting new people, but quickly warms up to them. Rusty has done well here with us at GRRR. He has done great with all the other dogs at GRRR and loves to go for walks with our volunteers. Rusty isn’t one for playing fetch or with toys, in general, but he enjoys running and romping with the other dogs. Rusty needs an all-adult home that can provide him the exercise, socialization, leadership, and training. Rusty is very sweet and is ready to be loved and start a new life with the right person or family.
