Teddy is a gorgeous 3 year old neutered male Golden Retriever. Teddy is a very active and happy boy. Loves to play fetch and run. Teddy is very affectionate and enjoys being with his people. Teddy’s previous family struggled with the decision to have him rehomed. Teddy is one of several dogs who are victims of the pandemic in a very different way. Because of the inability to train and socialize the dogs properly, inexperienced adopters have found themselves with behaviors they are unable to work with. Teddy resource guards and protects toys and food from the other dog that was in the home. We have been working with Teddy on his behaviors. Now we believe Teddy is ready for a new home, but it needs to be the right home. Teddy would do best in a home as an only dog, no cats, no children and an experienced adopter who would be devoted to training and working through his resource guarding behavior. GRRR would reimburse for his training through an approved trainer.
