Adopted 4/1/23 Hank-3 years old (Male) Yellow Lab

Hank is a very handsome, playful, strong, athletic guy. He came into GRRR from a Kansas shelter where he had been since October. Hank was found to be heartworm positive and had started treatment in Kansas. Hank made his way here because that handsome face just couldn’t be ignored and he needed rescue. Hank has now completed his heartworm treatment and is ready to be someone’s new best friend. Hank is looking for a friend who has the time, patience and strength to teach him how wonderful this new chance and life is. Hank will definitely need to go to obedience classes. He wants so badly to be a good boy, but he needs to learn that he’s not a lap dog and that it’s NOT okay to see what is on the counter and that giving back talk when he doesn’t get his way isn’t going to get him what he wants. Hank is so full of life, comical and very affectionate. His curiosity about everything is a joy to watch. He is great with other dogs. Hank is very sweet, but is a big strong boy who has never known the love of his own family.
