Delilah-4 years old (Female) ADOPTED 8/19/20

Meet our Sweet Delilah.  She is almost 4 yrs old.  Delilah is a mix of labrador retriever, husky, and other breeds.  Delilah was one of our puppies born here at GRRR back in October 2016.  Delilah was adopted as a young puppy and taken home where she was very loved and well cared for.   As her family grew, Delilah was not sure about all the activity and changes in her life.  Although Deliah lived with another smaller dog, she had been attacked as a young pup and feared other dogs outside the home.   She has been doing pretty well learning that other dogs are not going to hurt her during her time here with us.   Delilah also had a hard time adjusting to the toddler who was learning about being around dogs.  Delilah was fearful of the toddler.  A lot of quick movement and loud noises, she was not prepared for.   She loved her adults who adopted her but wasn’t sure about this little guy who wanted to chase and play with her.  Delilah loves adults more than anything and just melts into you as you pet and love on her.  Delilah does guard her food and things and has never learned how to share.  Delilah’s perfect home would be an active person without children or other pets to compete with.  She needs someone who is willing to do some training and help her overcome her fear of other dogs that are new to her.  We can’t begin to tell you how sweet and affectionate she is, but she needs just the right home where she can relax, learn that she is safe, and has nothing to fear.  If you are looking for a very devoted, sweet, and loving girl, please read our adoption process and then complete our online application.
