Meet Peyton!
Peyton is a strikingly handsome 2‑year‑old Golden Retriever with a joyful spirit and a whole lot of enthusiasm for life. This playful boy loves romping with other dogs, stretching his legs on a good run, and settling in with a favorite bone to chew.
Smart and eager to please, Peyton already knows several commands — sit, stay, come, shake, and even “go to bed.” He thrives with structure and engagement, and he’ll happily show off his skills for anyone willing to cheer him on.
Peyton does have plenty of youthful energy, and he can get overly excited around younger children, sometimes jumping or barking in his enthusiasm. Because of this, he’ll do best in a home with older kids or adults who can help him continue learning good manners and channel his energy in positive ways. He will also need to go to a home that is very active and has another playful dog!
