Meet Rocky!
Rocky is a gentle and affectionate 6-year-old male Golden Retriever who has faced significant challenges recently. After the passing of his owner, it’s unclear how long he remained with them, making this a deeply traumatic experience for him. He was subsequently taken to a local shelter, which added to his confusion and fear. Fortunately, the shelter contacted GRRR, and Rocky is now much more comfortable in our care.
We are still getting to know Rocky and his unique personality. He is a sweet and loving boy who is currently uncertain around other dogs, likely due to his recent experiences and the fact that he was recently neutered. We are hopeful that as he continues to settle in, he will become more social. However, we do feel that Rocky would do best as the only dog in the home. He would also thrive in a patient and understanding home that can provide him with the love and stability he needs to heal and blossom.
