How can I adopt one of the dogs?

The adoption process is the same as for all of our dogs. The adoption fee for the Turkey Dogs will be; over one year old $600, under one year old $800. Interested adopters should click here to learn about the adoption process and then complete an adoption application.

How can I sponsor one of the dogs?

Sponsorships are $1000 and are considered a tax-deductible donation. As a Turkey Dog sponsor you can select the name for one of the dogs, be at the airport to be the first one to welcome your sponsored dog to Colorado and the USA. You are also invited back for a playtime reception. Oh yeah, you also get some TD swag. click here.

I have my application in already…Will I be given priority?

Only people with completed applications can even meet the dogs once applicants receive a call from one of our adoption screeners. So yes, current applicants are the only ones eligible to meet and adopt these dogs. Keep in touch with your applications person and tell her/him of your interests.

Where can I see the dogs?

We are by appointment only, so once you receive a call from one of our adoption coordinators, they will arrange a meet and greet for you.

How can I donate to help these dogs?

Do you need any supplies or food for the Turkey Dogs?

We are not collecting food and supplies for them at this time. The best way to help is to make a donation – every amount counts and we can use it for food or supplies as needed.

How can I foster one of the dogs?

We may be looking for fosters for the dogs if they are not adopted. To foster one of the dogs, which involves giving them a temporary home until they are adopted, complete a foster application. Warning, we rarely utilize fosters, so don’t be disappointed if you are not called to foster,
