Scout is an 18‑month‑old Golden Retriever who was recently neutered and is just beginning to discover what it feels like to be part of a family. In his previous home, long work hours meant he spent far too much time crated, leaving him without the socialization, training, and companionship a young dog needs.
Despite that start, Scout is incredibly eager to please and so ready to learn. He didn’t receive much training early on, but he’s already making wonderful progress here — especially with leash walking — and he absolutely loves all the attention he’s getting from our volunteers.
Scout needs a home where someone can spend real time with him, help him grow, and teach him how to be a loved, confident member of the family. With patience, consistency, and affection, this sweet boy will blossom.
